Since being admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 2019, I've been committed to one thing above all else: fighting for the people who need it most.
Before returning to practice full time, I spent years in the classroom as a middle school educator, walking alongside students who faced some of life's hardest challenges at a very young age. That season of my life sharpened something in me that no law school course ever could — the unshakeable belief that people are capable of growth, change, and redemption at any stage of life. I witnessed it firsthand, and I carry that conviction into every case I take.
I am tough when I need to be, strategic always, and hopeful even when the odds feel steep. I don't just see the charges in front of me — I see the human being behind them, and I fight accordingly.
