Justice, Uncomplicated.

Our mission is to provide tenacious, compassionate criminal defense to every client — regardless of their background or the charges they face. We believe that access to exceptional legal representation is not a privilege reserved for the few, but a right that belongs to everyone. We show up fully prepared, fiercely committed, and genuinely invested in your best possible outcome.

We envision a justice system where every person who walks through a courtroom door has someone truly in their corner — someone who sees not just the case, but the person. Our vision is a community where one mistake does not define a lifetime, and where skilled, restorative legal advocacy opens the door to second chances and brighter futures.

My name is Jazemine McSween, and I am a licensed North Carolina criminal defense attorney with a calling that runs deeper than the courtroom.

I earned my Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law and my Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from UNC Pembroke. Since being admitted to the NC Bar in 2019, I have been committed to one thing above all else — fighting for the people who need it most.

Before returning to practice full time, I spent years in the classroom as a middle school educator, walking alongside students who faced some of life's hardest challenges at a very young age. That season of my life sharpened something in me that no law school course ever could — the unshakeable belief that people are capable of growth, change, and redemption at any stage of life. I witnessed it firsthand, and I carry that conviction into every case I take.

I am tough when I need to be, strategic always, and hopeful even when the odds feel steep. I don't just see the charges in front of me — I see the human being behind them, and I fight accordingly.

If you or someone you love is facing a criminal charge, know this: it is never too late to fight for your future. I am here, and I am ready.
